  Long Sleeve Tunic Recall

Test results slightly over legal maximum. Article removed from market immediately.

In a test carried out by the ÖKO TEST magazine the long sleeve tunic (article 150028) was found to contain an AZO dye / Benzidine which was slightly over the legal maximum. Instead of the required value of 30 mg/kg, a value of 40 mg/kg was measured. This was not measured in the actual material itself but rather in an application which was sewn on externally so that it was not in direct skin contact.

In order to ensure that our customers enjoy the maximum product safety, we have immediately removed the article in question from the market. Tunics which have already been purchased can, of course, be returned to the store or directly to Street One. The purchase price will be refunded in full.

In order to avoid such cases in the future we have already instigated comprehensive steps to increase our product quality even further. We have increased our quality control intensity and frequency with which we test our products. From now on we will be spot checking twice as much as before. We have also improved test methods and we now test applications such as ribbons, piping, and pendants even before processing.

We regret this incident greatly and would like to express our sincere apologies to our customers, business partners, and employees.
